Kingdom Come: Deliverance (1&2) is set in 1403 Bohemia and centers middle ages sensibilities on war, violence, gender roles, class, sexuality, religion, etc. The canon features potentially triggering topics such as sexual violence and antisemitism, though I'll default to avoiding those topics in crosscanon threads.

ABOUT -
Henry of Skalitz is the (alleged) son of a blacksmith.
But history has other plans. As Bohemia is swept up in a bitter contest for the throne, Henry's home and everything he's ever known is destroyed by invaders. Swearing revenge on the people who killed his parents and stole his father's final masterwork sword, Henry runs headlong into a new life as his liege lord's #1 go-for. Adventures ensue.
Meanwhile, Henry is a dumbass in the way late teen to early twenty lads often can be. A recovering yob convinced of his own cleverness (reinforced by the fact that he actually can be a little smart when it counts), Henry is gregarious and curious and more than a little stubborn. He's prone to goofiness. He loves animals and throwing punches and learning things. On a good day, he knows how to compliment a lady and more or less respect his betters. On a bad day, he'll give solving problems by putting his boot up the ass end a go.
CANON POINT & IMPORTANT DECISIONS - I'll default to somewhere in KCD2, but thrilled to play from any point in the timeline including KCD1.
